North Star Borough
The Fairbanks North Star Borough government was established
in 1964 by the Alaska State Legislature. It encompasses
7,362 square miles, an area roughly the same size as
New Jersey, and serves a population of 84,380. Prior
to the construction of this building in 1984, the borough
offices were located on Fifth Ave.
