Mary
Lee Davis Home
Built in 1916 by a miner for his fashionable wife, this
home was purchased by the Davises in 1923. Already one
of the most stylish homes of its time Mrs. Davis added
Fairbanks' first open fireplace and polished oak floors.
The birch trees around this house and other houses on
Cowles Street were planted to honor President Hardings
visit in 1923
