Anchorage Businesses
Fourth
Avenue, Anchorage
Point #3 on Map
The Historic Fourth Avenue Theater is one of the finest
examples of Art Deco architecture in the United States.
These structures date to 1921 when Anchorage was incorporated,
and include Stewart's Photo Shop (formerly Oscar Anderson's
Meat Market), the second oldest building downtown, as
well as the Kimball Building.
