Cushman Street Bridge

All Fifty states are represented by their state flag on this concrete and steel bridge. Festival Fairbanks, a local community organization, raised the flags to commemorate Alaska's 25th year of statehood. In the past, the high waters of spring breakup often demolished wooden bridges that spanned the Chena River.
