Example of a "Grow-house"

This home is a wonderful example of a "grow-house." The original cabin has settled (see the backward slope of the logs?) the additions are very obvious. The following is a Fairbanks pioneer's definition of a "grow-house": A couple could live comfortably in the small square cabin, but as their family grew so did their home.
